HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ME TO CYCLE THE PARK?

Our response to this question is.. How fast do you cycle?

You can spend anything up to a full day in the Park. It is 1750 acres in size (equivalent to 1750 football fields), over twice the size of Central Park, New York

The main street, Chesterfield Avenue stretches through the middle of the park and is approx 4.5 km in length. If you cycled to the end and back you would have cycled 9 km. to do the outer circle around the park is 11km. This is without even getting into the centre of the park in search of the wild deer!

WHAT CAN I DO IN THE PARK?

At Phoenix Park Bikes we provide maps free of charge and will also answer your questions and help point you in the right direction.

The Park itself is home to the Irish President and also up to 500 wild Fallow Deer. There are plenty of historical buildings sitting on acres of land, some buildings have guided tours available (including Aras an Uachtarain – House of the Irish President).

There are Cafes (award winning) & Tearooms with home baked foods and the availability to eat el fresco.

Plenty of areas within the park to have family picnics (Strictly No BBQ’s), Playgounds, Markets, Dublin Zoo and so much more….
